Registration 2021

CWC2021 will be a highly modified version of our usual event due to continued pandemic limitations. This year, you are invited to attend one, 2-hour, in-person mini-conference – morning or afternoon – and then enjoy four video talks at home at your leisure.


MINI-CONFERENCE REGISTRATION:

So that as many women as possible have the opportunity to attend a mini-conference, we are asking all attendees to register for only ONE mini-conference, morning or afternoon. All mini-conference attendees will also receive online access to all four pre-recorded video talks as part of their registration.

  • Mini-Conference General Admission: $25.00 per person
  • College Students: $15.00 per person
  • Religious/Consecrated Women: $15.00 per person

Scholarships are available for women in financial need.  To request a scholarship, please send an email to archphillycwc@gmail.com.

Registration includes:

  • In-person attendance at one mini-conference of your choice, morning or afternoon (Sorry, livestream not available)

  • Online access to four pre-recorded video talks (Released on October 23)

Please note: Due to pandemic limitations, meals will not be served, nor will vendors be present. All events take place in the main Church.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are tickets required to get in? Tickets are not required for the conference. Advanced registration is required; no walk-ins, please. In order to avoid congregating crowds, there will be no check-in when you arrive for this event. Please proceed directly to the main Church upon arrival at the conference.

Can I register to attend both mini-conferences? So that as many women as possible have the opportunity to attend a mini-conference, we are asking all attendees to attend only ONE mini-conference, morning or afternoon. In early October, if one or both of the mini-conferences have not sold out, we will send all attendees an email inviting you to register for a second mini-conference if you wish to do so. At that time, you may register for a second mini-conference.

Will the mini-conferences be livestreamed?  Livestreaming is not available for the mini-conferences with Lisa Brenninkmeyer and Mother Clare. Lisa Brenninkmeyer’s and Mother Clare’s talks are in-person only.  For those women who are not able to attend a mini-conference in person, you have the option to purchase online access to the four pre-recorded video talks for a cost of $10.00.  Please click here to purchase access to these four videos.  An email with instructions to access the four video talks will be sent on October 23, 2021.

Is there a Spanish Track this year? Yes! Due to pandemic limitations, in order to keep crowd sizes down at this year’s conference, the Spanish Track will take place in a different location, Holy Innocents Parish in Philadelphia. Is there an ASL Track this year? There will not be a separate track in American Sign Language this year. However, both mini-conference keynotes and the four video talks will be interpreted in ASL. When registering, please checkmark the box “Check here for American Sign Language.”

Do catechists and teachers get a credit?  Due to the shortened nature of the 2021 conference, there is no catechetical update credit attached to this event.

Will meals be served? Due to pandemic limitations, meals and hot beverages will not be served at the mini-conferences. Each mini-conference attendee will receive a hospitality bag at the entrance to the Main Church, which will contain a bottle of water, snack and various small gifts from our advertisers.

Where do I submit the names of the women in my group? Due to pandemic limitations, there will be no check-in when you arrive at the mini-conference. Because of this, there is no need to submit the names of the women you are registering as you normally would for our full-day conferences. When you arrive, please proceed directly to the Main Church for the Keynote Address and Holy Hour.

Do you allow walk-ins? Advanced registration is required for this event. No walk-ins please.

How do I cancel my registration?  To request a refund, please send an email to archphillycwc@gmail.com. We are able to refund your registration fee until October 10. After October 10, we are not able to issue refunds. However, registrations are transferable. You are welcome to give your registration to another woman.

Can I mail-in my registration with cash or check? Payment with cash or check is available upon request. Email archphillycwc@gmail.com to request a mail-in registration form.

What are the COVID measures in place at this conference? All events for the mini-conferences in English take place in the Main Church in order to avoid congregating and intermingling crowds. The main Church will be filled to no more than 50% capacity to allow for social distancing. No meals will be served and vendors will not be present.  The masking policy will follow the Archdiocesan policy in place at the time of the conference.
