Mary Rose Mitchell
Mary Rose is a dedicated professional nurse with over 21 years’ experience at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (NYPH), where she has held a variety of roles. In her current role as Program Coordinator of Academic Partnerships, she collaborates with nurse leaders and academic institutions to deliver high-quality student experiences and spearhead innovative academic-practice initiatives across the enterprise. Mary Rose is deeply committed to serving others through honest, solution-oriented, and compassionate care. She earned her BSN from Widener University and holds an MPA from New York University.
Mary Rose serves as Chair of the Catholic Women’s Conference in the Office for the New Evangelization and is responsible for overseeing the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholic Women’s Conference. She oversees the planning and execution of the annual conference, collaborating with the committee to ensure its continued success. Her passion lies in helping women grow in their faith and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Mary Rose remains steadfast in her commitment to her faith and community. She is an active member of St. Cornelius Church in Chadds Ford, PA, volunteers for A Baby’s Breath, participates in Walking with Purpose women’s ministry, and advocates small businesses including local farms, restaurants, and boutiques.
Outside of her professional and ministry work, Mary Rose enjoys traveling, running, and practicing Pilates. One of her proudest personal achievements is completing the NYC Marathon.
